External footage only. Otherwise known as St John’s COI, this 'Chapel of Ease' built 1832 took pressure away from Bryansford since Newcastle’s population of 987 was increasing. Lord Annesley commissioned John Lynn to build it and Rev William Slacke was its first minister. It was enlarged in 1869.
