Museo Pelagalli
Tuesday, August 14th, 2012
Just outside the city walls is this Museum Pelagalli aptly named after its enthusiastic and long-time collector Giovanni Pelagalli. It also happens to be known as “Mille voci…mille suoni” and is without doubt one of Italy’s most extraordinary museums. Inside are 1300 original and working items surprisingly located in a garage, albeit a big one [...]

Along Via Flaminia is an incredible house decorated by an equally incredible artist. It’s definitely by far one of the most unique in Rimini for the simple reason it has been completely recovered by hand in antique ceramic fragments. This is the proud house of Cesare and Susanna Minelli Ugolini. Cesare has been collecting ceramics [...]

Tempio Malatestiano
Wednesday, June 7th, 2006
Tempio Malatestinio is a 13th century temple built by Sigismondo Malatesta that still confounds modern scholars as to what it was meant to serve. It wasn’t a Catholic church judging by the lack of anything Christian about it although used as Rimini’s cathedral since 1809. Sculptural reliefs by Agostino are among the greatest works of the Renaissance.
