Pubs and hostels in Belfast are making it into the digital era by being featured in our iGuidez video guides. We’ve uploaded several more places which let users now see them in a wholly new way. For example, Laverys Pub which is owned by a family in the trade for 150 years opened their doors to us this week. It also happens to be one of Belfast’s most famous bars and will strike a cord with many students in the past – particularly, as it’s going through dramatic changes that will change the image as well as the future clientel. Maddens was one of the first we covered. Another recent addition is Vagabonds Hostel which only opened a few months ago and the International Youth hostel. Travellers can now walk their way through rooms, receptions and games rooms just to get that added preview before booking.
A video guide for each of these places means that these businesses will eventually receive more publicity and online chit chat refering back to them. There’s many more advantages for pubs, restaurants and hotels to be feautured in this way and considering that Google Maps are becoming more location focused users will clearly see the benefits. We’ve plenty more to add so watch this space.
