L Bombicci Museum of Mineralogy

Founded in 1860, the museum has now 10,000 pieces on display under various regional areas including international, national and local. Stones, meteorites, ambers fluorescent and Lithic materials to name but a few examples. There are another 40,000 not shown!

The G.Ciamician Museological Collection

Edoardo Collamarini designed this building housing G.Ciamician Museological Collection and exquisite wooden library. Also, a collection of scientific instruments, apparatus and samples by the father of photochemistry Giacomo Ciamician. The library contains 28000 volumes including historically rich literature by Ocellus Lucanus, Bacone, Boyle, Newton.

Certosa Cemetery

Established 1801 Certosa cemetery boasts one of the most influential and renowned art ‘museums’ in Europe. For the noble and bourgeois Bolognese this Holy ground has been witness to master artists and sculptors since it opened. Neo classical monuments have also been built on an ancient Etruscan necropolis proving further how important this place is.
