The Scottish Provident was built during Queen Victoria’s reign 1892-1902. The facade, created from Giffnoch sandstone by architects Young and Mackenzie is one of Belfast’s greatest. Purdy and Milliard sculpted allegorical and heritage sculptures all over the building.
