Buildings represent different periods of learning while many exhibits on display really provide an in depth look at the old fashioned props used by both teachers and pupils. Rooms have been carefully restored.

About Hitchin

A small town with a population of 30,360. Hitchin can be traced to the 7th century and is notable for St. Mary’s Church and the River Hiz that tuns past it. This was also the hunting ground of Henry VIII.
