Belfast Belfast City Cemetery
Opened in 1869 as a cross-denominational burial ground for the people of Belfast, its one of the oldest with 250,000 people buried. An underground wall separates the Catholic and Protestant sides just as the entrance gates were designed. Many wealthy and famous families are buried here as well as names hoped to be forgotten!
