Belfast St Joseph’s Church Sailortown
Built 1878-80 and designed by architect T Hevey but completed by M Thompson. It has a beautiful Italian Romanesque façade with early French details. Local sandstone from Dungannon and Dundonald was used. Its decaying nature though equally reflects the current relationship between locals and the Church who want to sell it off to builders.
