Belfast St Malachy’s Church

Alfred Street - A fine castellated church founded 1841 that resembles a Tudor castle. Cpt T. Griffith is celebrated as a generous donor. Altar is the work of Felix Piccioni. A rare statue of St Benedict is on display with relics. The most striking design feature is its fan-vaulted ceiling, Romanesque pulpit of Italian marble and an ancient organ.
