Built 1874-77 by Timothy Hevey and Mortimer Thompson modelled on SS. Augustine & John on Thomas Street in Dublin. Neill Pearse (son of Patrick Pearse) carved St Patrick statue and the high altar. Behind a glass wall are 3 paintings by the renowned society painter Sir John Lavery. Reopened in 1997 after a fire in 1995.
