Bologna Astronomical museum and observatory tower

This Astronomical museum in via Zamboni is where the first astronomers plied their trade since 1700s. Their many tools and old fashioned equipment eg, wooden telescopes are on show in the various rooms. Not so easy to reach though as there are a few steps to climb however a free personal guide makes the tour quite interesting.
