Bologna Ex Convento di Santa Cristina
An ex convent dating to 1247. A fire and administration changes have destroyed many original characteristics but quite a few still remain: paintings by Salviati, Carracci and Francia, cell structures, the old refectory. The nuns were kicked out for rebelling against religious laws forbidding them to practice music. Now part of Bologna University.
