About Trattoria del Rosso

Located in the centre of Bologna, Trattoria Del Rosso serves traditional Bolognese food every day of the year. Owned and operated by Stephen Curvucci, Trattoria Del Rosso’s goal is to serve its customers with a simple and informal menu as you would find in a typical Bolognese home. The recipes are all homemade from bread to pasta, lasagne, tagliatelle, tortellini and tortelloni, to Crescentine served with a mix of local salami and cheese.
The restaurant was already known as ‘Caffe Del Rosso’ in 1860 and it still retains that name today, but is best known as Trattoria Del Rosso. It’s characterized by a casual family atmosphere with wooden tables, wicker chairs and mats of yellow paper, as in the taverns of days gone by.

Its hugely successful and is full every lunch and dinner time by people from all walks of life.
The trattoria is also famous for their ‘Red Menu’, which allows anyone, any day of the year for lunch and dinner, weekends included, to eat a full meal of first and second dish with vegetables, dessert and water for just 10 Euro.
