Bryansford St Patrick’s church

A parish whose historic origins were first celebrated in a “bohog” at the Burrenreagh Mass Rock between 1660-1760. An old chapel was built here in 1760 by Rev Robert Taylor, then rebuilt in 1830 by the Rev John O'Heggarty. Stations of the Cross are 105 years old. Graveyard includes many graves from the McCartan clan and a quirky headstone.
