Newcastle’s Edwardian/Victorian promenade has recently undergone construction work to modernise it, make it safer, and more user friendly at a cost of £4,000,000. A scenic route takes along the sandy beaches or what’s left anyway. Also reveals a monument dedicated to Harry Ferguson’s amazing feat of powered flight in 1910.
