About 6 Winds Monument

Created in 2005 by the Riminese artist Bruno Militi and the Romani Brothers firm, ‘The Wind Rose’ is composed of 8 stylized cherubs that are inspired by the famous subject of Duccio in the Malatesta Temple, representing the main winds. It’s topped with a copper embossed mast and a shell-shaped sail. The theme ‘wind rose’ was chosen because it symbolizes the main access road to the new dock.
