About Via Marecchia

Via Marecchia marks the beginning of a little suburb called Borgo San Giuliano. It’s a very quaint and picturesque area with this street highlighting many murals dotted along the houses. Some are dedicated to Fellini who it was said to have been fond of this corner of Rimini.

Another common feature of the houses here are the ceramic name plates indicating the family names of those living here. The fishing community of course is also represented in the murals while, a few exquisite restaurants may be discovered in the labyrinth of streets.

It nevertheless, makes for a serene walk past the beautifully coloured houses with their potted plants on display.
