About Torre Civica
Torre Civica
At the top of the hill on Santarcangelo is the Torre Civica – the Civic Tower. It was erected between 1892-1893 by an engineer from Faenza called Giuseppe Tramontani. He designed it in a neo-gothic style and displays a large clock face on each side of the tower. At the foot of it is a beautiful and tranquil little village often thronging with tourists while looking out from the top and over the whole vista is an iron sculpture of Michael the Archangel.
